Costa Blanca

Introduction
For sun, sea, and sand holidays, it does not get much better than Spain’s Costa Blanca. This long stretch of coastline offers superb sandy beaches, secluded coves, mountains blanketed in pine forests and olive and orange groves, and enough seaside resorts to keep thousands of visitors happy year round. For outdoor sports, natural beauty, family-oriented fun, and excellent dining and nightlife options, A holiday to Costa Blanca will not disappoint.

Where to go on a Holiday to Costa Blanca
Javea is a hidden gem among the glossy resort towns along the Costa Blanca. Although the town is a popular holiday destination, Javea has managed to retain much of its old world charm. The streets are narrow and winding, there are plenty of medieval buildings in the old part of the town, and there are many traditional restaurants and taverns overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Moreover, the impressive Montgo mountain rises in the background, and is a great place to do some hiking, rock climbing, or mountain biking.

If scuba diving or snorkelling is more your style, the lovely coastal town of Denia is the perfect base. This is jumping off point for the Balearic Islands as well as some of the best diving trips in Spain. The waters off the coast of Denia are clear and clean, and teeming with colourful fish, octopuses, squids, starfish, and sea urchins. The resort also has soft sandy beaches with warm waters that are perfect for soaking up the sun.

Benidorm is a great place for families, as there is much to see and do for people of all ages. This is the home of Terra Mitica, the largest theme park in all of Spain, which features spine-tingling roller coasters, exhilarating water rides, captivating exhibits and shows, and themed areas inspired by different countries from around the world. Benidorm also houses a massive aquarium, a fabulous water park, a museum dedicated to chocolate, and hundreds of hotels, restaurants, and bars, many of which offers views of the gorgeous beach.

Torrevieja, the small city of Torrevieja rests along the Costa Blanca between two scenic salt lakes. Once a small fishing and salt production centre, the area is quickly becoming a favourite holiday destination for domestic and international travellers alike. People are drawn to Torrevieja for its lovely beaches, scenic walking and cycling trails, lively markets, and its close proximity to the splendid island of Tabarca. This is the perfect holiday destination for those who want to enjoy some invigorating sea breezes, sublime scenery, and coastal Spanish culture.
